Just ordered my new business cards! One of my favorite parts of design is the research process. As you may know, I am a know-it-all. Duh. But every time I take on a new project, I take off my know-it-all hat and actually do some research. And this one was great! Jessica is a physical therapist, but she specializes in pediatric physical therapy. She also combines traditional therapy with water based therapy. Lastly, while the mind immediately goes to children when you think pediatric, she treats patients up to about 21. Jessica knew she wanted something that would be attractive to all her clients, from Laura knew what she wanted for her wedding and for her invitations. Â Their wedding is based around toki doki figures that she has. Â They are great little vinyl figures that are just absolutely adorable and she is going to use them as cake toppers. Â I love it! Â But, I knew Laura was not going to find an invitation that matched her wedding perfectly, so I made it happen. Â She fell in love immediately! Â Matching Laura & Steve (the “Awesomes”) even further, the invitation will be mounted on a metallic (think *sparkly*) black card design + photography + nerdery Trained formally in design, informally in photography, and naturally in nerdery. I studied Graphic Design Communication in college, while concentrating on business, and dabbling in photography. During school and after finishing up, I spent five years with Apple, Inc learning my ways around larger companies. I then moved on to basing design around photography and understanding how smaller businesses work. This has created piqulette. This has created my desire to integrate my loves of design, photography, and running a business into one. I design wedding albums and almost anything else |
