There was clearly so much emotion on this wedding day. Maybe my favorite part of the predesign process is actually getting to see every single image from the day rather than just the favorites of the couple. I loved everything about this wedding day. I can’t say it enough. The dark moodiness of the reception may be one of my favorite things. Or her dad seeing her for the first time. Or the dip in the first dance. I can’t decide. Take a look as tell me what you think!

Four years ago today I married the greatest person I have ever met. He is smart, funny, kind, you know – all those good things girls want! Above is my favorite series from the day. Here are a few favorite layouts from a recent album that was a predesign. It is so liberating to have total say on what the book should look like. But all 50 sides would be too much to post right? I LOVE dad’s face when he sees her for the first time in her dress. So deserving of a full page.

Recently, the Piqulette blog was discovered by someone trying to learn how to break even in graphic design. Now, they didn’t find what they were looking for necessarily. They found an article about Break Even‘s new business cards. Anyway, it got me thinking about how I hope to break even, and how important having a plan of some sort is.
Just saying business plan can scare away many people. But I want to offer a different perspective on it. A business plan does not have to be the most formal thing in the world. If you went to school
