I met with a couple about their album today. When talking about their cover design, the option of the photo front cover Queensberry offers was definitely the way they were going. When we were deciding on cover material, we started to talk about color options for the image itself. When the groom suggested just the roses be in color, I had to stop him right there. Luckily, I do get to meet with great people that trust my opinion. So when I have to put it out there that they will know their album

if we did it over again…

How cool would the idea of the reception at the aquarium be? I LOVED working on this album! It was so much fun! Just a sneak peak for now….

More to come soon!

the awesomes make it official

Laura knew what she wanted for her wedding and for her invitations. Â Their wedding is based around toki doki figures that she has. Â They are great little vinyl figures that are just absolutely adorable and she is going to use them as cake toppers. Â I love it! Â But, I knew Laura was not going to find an invitation that matched her wedding perfectly, so I made it happen. Â She fell in love immediately! Â Matching Laura & Steve (the “Awesomes”) even further, the invitation will be mounted on a metallic (think *sparkly*) black card stock.

what i love first thing in the morning

As a designer, the only thing better than being happy with a final design, is a client who is BEYOND happy with a final design. This is the message I got to enjoy first thing this morning:

OMG I AM SO EXCITED about this sample album. I should have had you design a photo cover also – but i didn’t know I was gonna do a photo cover – and I did – I did it myself so hopefully it doesn’t kill the whole book – LOL – it’s just a full spread of one photo though so no design
